A girlfriend and I had dinner at Northlands this evening... first time I've ever eaten there. Our waitress was courteous and attentive, and the food we finally ordered was fine. The bummer was that when we ordered a calamari appetizer, we were told, "sorry, that is not available this evening as we have no flour in the kitchen." When the fish and chips on the menu were discussed, we were again told that they were not available, as there was no flour in the kitchen to make the batter.
Really? A professional kitchen (with a nearby grocery store) had NO FLOUR? Just not good enough, Northlands!
