“Very good food...but expensive!”

Very good food. Service a little spotty. Restaurant is in a small and therefore crowded space. Prices are at the upper end of any scale.

“Yummy in my tummy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2012

This restaurant is small, but what they lack in size they make up for in quality. The menu covers everything from your typical Italian dishes (the Quattro pasta, with chicken and black beans, was excellent) to freshly caught halibut to cornish game hens. I had the warm duck salad appetizer, which was a meal in itself, and the scallop and pork cheeks which were slow roasted and served over creamy mashed potatoes, artichokes and decorated with shoestring potatoes and a balsalmic glaze. Really yummy. Our waiter really knew his wines and was able to help us choose something we'd all like. The chocolate lava cakes for dessert, served with vanilla bean gelato, were a perfect way to top off our dinner. We stayed for three and a half hours and didn't once feel rushed. The service was top notch, as was the food!

“Great appetizer plate”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2012 via mobile

A lovely ambience, good service, and good food. The best wabthe appetizer plate - pricey at $17 per person but well worth it. A really interesting array of delicacies, some familiar and some not which is great. Had the Halibut fish special for main - not worth the price, and the Quattro pasta - ok but not special. Overall an enjoyable meal but a bt over priced.

“Our Favorite Italian Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2012

This is the best Italian that I have eaten in Vancouver - no question. In particular we like the half orders, which means you can two of your favourite pastas on the same plate, for the price of one dish - mmmm
