We stayed in a house in Deep Cove whilst over from Scotland. Beautiful scenery, was lovely to wake up and sit out on the deck in the morning and watch the comings and goings on the bay. There are people kayaking all day, boats moving all day and early evening, a busy place. Even in the rain the scenery is stunning. There is a great ice cream shop there, my four kids loved going there. Honey donuts was shut when we went, the shop at the end has a lot of tea, from all over the world. Very friendly people, whether we were in the shop or waiting at the bus stop people would chat. Very steep to get back to the house, but when houses are built on mountains what else do you expect. I would love to live there permanently but sadly we had to return to real life. Well worth going along to see if you are in the area, you can hire a boat, go for ice cream or simply just have a walk in the park, maybe take the Baden Powell walk and head up to quarry rock. So much to do.
