Description: We are family run small cafe specializing in mouth watering french classics with an casual contemprary style. The traditional brunch items would include braised short rib with poached egg and red wine sauce or a tolouse special cassoulet with swiss cheese baked white beans, confit pork , sausage and other goodies.our pastries are made from scratch , and if you are just feeling something light then we also have a bread n meat menu and ask the server for daily specials.

Our second time here, once just the two of us, then for Mother's Day . The place is very bare bones, they obviously spend their money on food! It's family run, service is very good and friendly. Hidden Jem.

An young, energetic, friendly, well-run enterprise; Fresh, local, carefully prepared food; very knowledgeable, engaged service. Although a low-key environment, this restaurant has genuine character and an extremely interesting, creative menu. The breakfasts are extremely flavourful- I'd say supurb; all with or without eggs, served in small cast iron casseroles with themes around cassoulet, tomato gratin, smoked salmon, Lyon, Braised Beef, Omellette and usually a special frittata. A lovely, lightly-dressed green salad, breakfast potatoes and a large slice of baguette acompanying. The OJ is fresh squeezed and good coffee. This restaurant built a reputation for great lunches and added dinner as their clientele grew. We are very keen to return for dinner as their wine list (Canadian except for one french vintage) is excellent and fairly priced and the dinner menu looks really inviting (a beef, duck, chicken, vegetarian and fish/seafood selection with interesting appetisers, salads and soup.) Well done Tour de Feast!

Went here after reading all the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. They were correct:the food was terrific...perfectly prepared and reasonably priced. Service was informal, attentive but not intrusive. Parking in a dedicated lot on the west side of the building....enter from the north side.

I saw reviews and felt that i had to give it a try. I am glad i did. The interiors were nice and casual. Upon looking at the menu, i was amazed at the options offered. I started with the octopus three ways which was a treat to the tastebuds. They do specials on most of the nights so i tried the flank steak with sun choke puree, an excellent delight. It's a family owned restaurant and that reflects in their hospitality as the staff was very attentive and courteous.

I thought the reviews sounded good so my son and I gave it a try. The atmosphere was nothing special. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a mixed green salad with hazelnuts. Again no wow factor at all and quite small for almost $10. My son had the chickpea curry with octopus added. He said he liked it. No drinks and $35 with a tip, one meal being a salad. I would not return for dinner, possibly brunch or lunch but probably not.
