Our kids loved Neighbourhood Noodlehouse food as toddlers ..... and still do as 20 somethings! The atmosphere is plain, though clean, with dinner specials and their prices on the walls. We usually get home delivery and the food is always hot on arrival. The Chinese Wor Wonton soup is great: good broth, crisp vegetables, fresh noodles + plump little wonton dumplings. The Vietnamese Lemon Chicken (grilled) is flavourful and well-spiced, the sushi fresh- though not spectacular, the gyoza moist and tasty and the Calgary Ginger Beef is unsurpassed by other Chinese restaurants. Where else can one get solid, dependable Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese food under one roof? And the combo lunch + dinner boxes (bento type) are good if the long menu is too daunting and you're starving on arrival!

You can order Chinese, Japanese or Vietnamese Food. We come here about 3 times a month getting a quick and delicious Asian Food.

I lived a block away from Neighbourhood Noodle House for over a decade and I've been there more times than I can count!

It is by no means gourmet Asian food, but you certainly get your money's worth here. My favourite dish is the mixed vegetable & wonton noodle soup. It's perfect on a rainy or cold day, and it comes with a ton of different vegetables and more noodles than I can eat. (And it's really inexpensive.)

The best thing about Neighbourhood Noodle House is their combo boxes. At one time, they were only available for lunch, but now they are available all day. It's perfect if you're a solo diner or if you're with another person and want more variety than splitting 2 - 3 large dishes. There's a lot of choices with the combo boxes, and they're very reasonably priced (between $7.50 - $9.50 as of 03/13).

The service is always fast and efficient, although not overly friendly. Several years ago, they started pre-making the tea and keeping it warm in coffee decanters, so if you like hot, fresh tea, keep this in mind. But really, the value of the food and variety of the menu is worth giving the Neighbourhood Noodle House a try.

We have been coming to this local restaurant, long before we had grandchildren and, now that we do, it's the place to go. The menu is diverse with Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese items on the menu, even hard to please palates will find delicious food. Kids aged 6 and 3 always order calgary ginger beef, chicken fried rice, sweet and sour pork, miso soup and sushi. We all share and order a few appetizers as well. Their Vietnamese spring roll is so good I have to limit myself to one but I really want more...The staff are used to kids and are friendly and kind to them, any mess is overlooked and we love them.
There is a large fish tank at the end of the dining room which is a huge bonus for kids as when they have finished eating they can spend time watching all the activity in the tank.
Prices are reasonable for quality food and $60.00 for 4 adults and 2 children will usually do it.

Big menu, lots of options, friendly staff. Been here in numerous occasions and never have had anything negative to say. Good value for your money too. Their soups are good. They have good boxes with a bit of mixed cuisine.
