Nice hike

The suspension bridge is not very long, but the water underneath is simply breathtaking, very clear.

The bridge has a nice view. It is free of charge. Can get a bit crowded near the bridge but other trails around to explore and get nice water views. Place to buy food, nature center and restrooms.

I say forget the suspension bridge. It was okay, but what we loved was the beautiful forest trails for hiking and climbing down to the water and jumping across the rocks. If it's summer bring water shoes and a swimsuit and towel. Gorgeous scenery and serene forest even in the busy tourist season. I found the bridge to be way too crowded and unstable for my liking (I have a healthy fear of heights). It took about an hour to get there from our rental in downtown Vancouver (combo of walking, ferry, and bus) but overall it was totally worth it!

Lynn Canyon is fabulous and free. Beautiful scenic forest with trails, boardwalks and bridges to cross. It's downhill all the way, be prepared to hike back up. Not very many people, lots of parking, plus an ecology center.

It’s a good hike around the area and the streams and the waterfalls, up and down and just when you’ve had ENOUGH there’s the parking lot and a cafe! Magic!

Loved visiting here. Wasn't too keen on the bridge but managed it OK. It was quite busy. The walks in and around the bridge were beautiful. Easy to get to on the bus.

I enjoy visiting places without crowds, and by without crowds I mean I like to be the only one there. This is usually because I can get better pictures without people in the background. My best advice is to go early if you want to be without crowds. I went at 7:30AM which was perfect, but people started showing up around 8AM. Definitely worth going to, you can make it super quick or it's a beautiful area to explore if you want to stay longer! Oh - and it's free!

It was busy on Saturday even past the summer crowds. This is still so beautiful. It's a must for anyone in Vancouver. Don't just do the suspension bridge!! Go on and explore. The trails are easy and lovely. Parking is free. Don't be discouraged at the first lot. Proceed on. There will be other sites past the visitor center building.

If you're coming to North Vancouver for a visit, you should have at least one "nature experience". There are several spectacular ones..but they're not cheap.
Bringing a family of four to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and then up Grouse Mountain will set you back $300! That's no joke.
Want to still walk across a bridge and have a view?
Then check out this bridge and rip up to Mount Seymour. After Mount Seymour go to Deep Cove for some Honeys Doughnuts or to Scratch Kitchen for a great meal. Including gas you'll barely break $100.
