We stayed on a saturday night - June 22. We found the room given to us very dark and gloomy - somewhat like a cave. Everything needs an upgrade in the room. It smelt as if they were covering another smell with air freshener. The bed had waves in it and my husband had a hard time with that. I was awakened in the middle of the night with the smell of "skunk weed" coming from either next door or outside near our door. Not good cause my husband has lung issues (COPD). Also seems to be a tax on the receipt, that is energy tax of some sort, don't think that should be there, never seen that before.
Very close to the suspension bridge(about $35/p) and the stanley park. Close enough to downtown, too, if you have a car but there are buses to downtown right on the street. Cute vietnamese restaurant right beside it. Outside of the hotel was a bit shabby but inside was pretty neat and spacious enough. Our room door needed to be kicked to open but i didn't feel unsafe.
