“Free excitement”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

This is a great alternative to the tourist oriented Capilano Suspension Bridge. Lots of trails, the bridge is a classic, and the swimming hole to the north is excellent in the summer. Swim the creek through the narrow gorge to a small waterfall/rapid.

“Thick wood stairs almost as awesome as the canyon”
Reviewed June 29, 2012

Park at the end of Peters road. Ask for a trail map at the Ecology center. Pre-pee at the cafe. Then go out over the suspension bridge which is by the cafe. Across the bridge, we went left to the "30 foot pool" then circled back to and crossed at the Twin Falls bridge. Nature's danger and fury are the most awesome around the Twin Falls bridge. Our hike only took about 1.5 hrs.

“Beautiful trails and wonderful waterfalls”
Reviewed June 29, 2012

We parked on the South side of the canyon in the Seymour Conservation Reserve area and walked down to the 30 foot pool instead of parking at the Lynn Canyoun Park Lot. Absolutely beautiful rain forrest with trees that tower over you. A pretty steep incline down to the canyon but all of the steep sections are sturdy wooden stairs. The suspension bridge was cool but man made. What God placed in this area is the amazing part!

“Pretty cool”
Reviewed June 27, 2012

We had a nice time, it was an hour to get there almost on public transport (seabus and bus), so plan on spending a day there if you go (we didn't have that much time). cool bridge and falls, trails were up or down, pretty strenuous hikes.

“easy to visit from city”
Reviewed June 27, 2012

quick trip here from Vancouver across the bridge. Suspension Bridge is close to the parking lot. Get here earlier in the day to avoid crowds and for easier parking. Free, wow. There is a loop trail with two pretty waterfalls, some uphill climbing, but not too far. Could get muddy so wear appropriate footwear (not flipflops). The loop took us maybe 25 minutes with a few brief stops. Near the twin falls, look for a distant view of the suspension bridge...you can appreciate how the bridge is surrounded by moss-covered trees. Lovely and natural, even though a suburban neighborhood is nearby and you are so close to the city. Others told us that this has a more natural setting than Capilano.
