“Free is better.”
Reviewed October 10, 2011

That Capilano suspension bridge has a big entry fee, whereas this place was totally free. and less crowded. and more outdoorsy. quick hike down takes you to the river below... nice to sit by it in peace, rather than the larger crowd at Capilano.

“Well worth the visit, just do it!”
Reviewed October 9, 2011

This suspension bridge is great. Moderate walk from bus stop from North Vancouver terminal. Not a tourist trap, just a great location. Do it! A little bit of quite time in a lovely area. Also very good hot chocolate and washrooms after your walk return from across the bridge.

“Beautiful and Free!”
Reviewed October 4, 2011

We had a great afternoon at Lynn Canyon Park! There is a suspension bridge there that is 50 meters long and just as high. There is another suspension bridge nearby that gets all the publicity, but they charge $20 to walk across! Lynn Canyon gave the same kind of experience but for free. There were a couple hiing trails that went through the forest and near the stream/river. Beautiful!! I would go again!

“Great park near Vancouver”
Reviewed October 3, 2011

We went to this park instead of Capillano after suggestions at Tripadvisor, and we were delighted! Lynn park is not much further out than Capillano from downtown Vancouver, and it is beautiful: lovely views, the suspension bridge is exciting, and above all, it's free!

“Must do, better than Capilano!”
Reviewed September 25, 2011

Really easy to get to by public transport we paid $10 for an all day transport pass (used it to get to Stanley Park in the afternoon), we got off the bus at Lynn Valley Centre not the Canyon by mistake so had a 15 minute walk up to the entrance.
Suspension bridge is not as big as Capilano but the whole park is free! We only had time to do the suspension bridge and twin falls, and did not get time to do the walk down to the 30ft pool.
Great morning out and my 8 year old loved it, topped off by seeing a woodpecker having a feast on some lava in a tree.
Loved the park and pretty quiet, an escape from busy Vancouver city centre, tempted not to do the review to keep the hoardes of tourists away.
