My wife and I went to Lynn Canyon almost directly after Capilano Suspension Bridge, and what a night and day difference, Lynn Canyon was far better in almost every conceivable way. Less crowded, less overbuilt, less commercialized, nicer trails, better views, free parking, and nicer people... hard to go wrong.
Lynn Canyon's bridge is a fair bit shorter, but the view is actually even BETTER here. At Capilano, we were neck deep in swarms of tourists, it was difficult to even get a few decent pictures. Lynn Canyon, however, was FAR more relaxed and enjoyable.
We went for a rather long hike through the park, and ended up lying on a rock, soaking our feet in the river with no one else in sight. What a perfect way to end a day of sightseeing.
Additionally, there is a very, very well done ecology center here. The center is geared towards families, but the wife and I had a great time poking through the creative and high quality exhibits. They work on donations, so don't forget to through in some money.
As well, there is a nice little cafe here, the food is a little expensive (not as eye popping as Capilano), but the siphon coffee is fantastic, and a perfect way to wind down after (or before) a quick hike.
Fantastic place, I only wish there was anything even near this great where I live. Since you can walk as much or as little as you like, I can happily recommend this for any travelers who can appreciate a less commercialized attraction.
