Owner description: Just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain attracts locals and tourists alike. During the summer, guests enjoy hiking, Zip Line Adventures, paragliding, sightseeing, lumberjack shows and more. In winter, we have skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides among many other activities. Grouse Mountain also features several different dining venues, from café style at Lupins to casual dining at Altitudes and fine dining as a guest at The Observatory. We also have a refuge for endangered wildlife.

“Nice mountain, but expensive ride”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

If you are athletic, and be able to spend a few hours climibing up the stairs, it is good for you.
A round trip for the cable car up and down the mountain is $40. If you climb your way up and take the cable car down, it is $10. The cable car is packed and if you are standing in the middle, you will see and smell only other people's head. For me, and probably, most people, it really does not worth it. Especially not during summer. If you do not have much time for your trip, you can skip this.

“Amazing views of Vancouver and beyond”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Went up there to the top on a sunny Autumn day and could not recommend more. Was quite foggy at start of day but as you went higher that lifted but left the city below appearing through the fog which was great to look at. Wouldnt recommend spending the extra money on the Eye as didnt really seem any better views than just below it. A must for any trip to Vancouver, look forward to coming back when there is snow on the mountain

“Great view but the rest was so so”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

4 of us went for dinner, and they didn't tell us at the base station that the main restaurant was closed. So we paid the expensive tram fare up, discovered it was closed and and ate in the pub instead. Which was nice (although service was a bit slow) but we discovered they only reimburse the tram fare if you eat in the main restaurant. We had to ask a supervisor and it eventually got sorted.

“Go see the Bears”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

At the right time of the year, you could easily spend a day at the Mountain, with lots to do (I went in October and there were a number of items which were closed). Scenery is stunning. Worth it alone to see the 2 bears. Easy to get to from the Seabus terminal near Canada Place (Seabus to Lonsdale Quay, then a 236 bus to Grouse Mountain).
