“Poor Value: EXTREMELY crowded!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2014 via mobile

I am a local who will no longer take visitors to the city on up to Grouse Mountain for the cable car view. Grouse Mountain has gone extremely greedy. The cable car experience- relative to 10-15 years ago- is crowded, claustrophobic and totally uncomfortable. You cannot SEE the points of interest! You cannot SEE
the view! You are crammed in like cattle! The existing mountain management is also rather disorganised, so programs at the top- unless you ski and board- are barely minimal and sometimes
cancelled due to weather
conditions. Both the lift price and restaurants on
arrival are overpriced.

“Great Views!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2014

I've ridden in A LOT of Sky trams, Gondolas, etc,,being from California...this was a nice ride, great views of Vancouver and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It could use a price reduction, but I think if you have fun and enjoy the scenery and not expect miracles happening on the way up, what you pay and get out of it will be worth it.

“Great day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2014

Brilliant. Stayed at Lonsdale quay and took #236 bus to grouse mountain in 25 mins direct. Straight onto sky ride what a view seemed to go on for ever. Nice commentary on way up. Loads to do at the top. Took ski lift up to top very high into the clouds which cleared on way down could see all way to downtown Vancouver . Lumberjack show brilliant so lively and funny. Amazing how they climb the tree in seconds. Grinder and Coola the resident bears were amazing. Thanks.

“Enjoyed ride”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2014

This is how you get onto Grouse Mountain, its about a 10 minute ride up in a large cable car with only a few seats so most people are standing. We got in quite early so we stood by the windows but if you were on the inside of the car you would not see much which would be disappointing. There was a commentary which we enjoyed and the views were amazing, an exciting start to a lovely visit there.

“Squashed”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2014

This is the only way to the top of the mountain and you get squashed in like sardines. The gondola holds up to 100 people, they give a commentary on the way up which is a waste of time as you cannot see what they are talking about. It is worth to go up to the mountain just unfortunately you have to go up on the gondola.
