We found this hotel when Vancouver proper seemed overflowing with conventions and cruisers. Just use the Seabus (10-12 min) and walk about 100 yards to the hotel . Not only was it a bit less expensive but offers wonderful unobstructed views of the harbor and the city. The room had a deep soaking tub separated by glass from the bedroom. The king bed was very comfortable, with the room well appointed including a safe. The only slight drawback was the hall noise that can filter into the room. There is a small balcony to sit on during good weather to enjoy the great view, too. The Lobby restaurant and bar were excellent. This hotel has the biggest and best pool we've seen in a long time offering lap swimming. Other gym facilites are available, too.
Just yards away at the ferry dock is Lonsdale Market with fresh food, restaurants, and shopping.
Visitors to the Pinnacle can visit Grouse Mt and Capilano Suspension Bridge which are located close by.
