We ended up here by accident after we arrived at the place that we wanted to go to in Steveston (Diner 1) had closed down.
We were seated quickly, and the service was fast and efficient, and the place is pretty well set up. There are lots of good seats and a lot of big screen tv’s.
The music was far too loud, made the experience unpleasant, and kept us all moderately irritated throughout our visit. It looked to me as though some rogue staff member was playing their favorite music, too loud, and for their own enjoyment, while they were working. This is always a bad sign in any business and usually points to poor management. We normally eat out as a social event and like to do lots of talking – it was hard to hear each other in this case.
The food was very mediocre and the menu seems to lack confidence.
There was a large sushi restaurant very close by and I wish we had gone there instead.
