Came together with my Mom for a Groupon High-tea and Chocolate Fondue. The dining area impressed very much. Very cosy, elegant, modern. Very nice tables, ceiling, windows, flower baskets. At 2.30 pm on a Saturday there were may be only 3 or 4 tables full. There was a lady-pianist playing the most popular movie tunes - very enjoyable. Lots of parking, very conveniently located, literary behind Costco but in a secluded area of the street. Staff was very nice and friendly. there were minor things like almost lukewarm tea that was replaced by a hot steaming cup immediately on my request.Staff seemed to be shy, trying not to intrude too much i guess. Even though i wasn't asked whether i'd like my tea to be refilled or whether everything tasted well... - still nothing ruined the overall wunderfull experience. Pastry and sandwiches were fresh and tasty. I'd rather return here than ever go for an overpriced and overrated High Tea at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria. Well done! Thank you!
