“good selection of stores”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

signage and parking a bit convoluted. Good mix of stores, plenty of pre-Christmas sales. A couple going out of business--not so good--and some short on sales staff.

“New Food court!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

Richmond Centre has recently removed it's theatres and have been replacing the space with a new giant food court. The original area (where the food court was) are being replaced by more retail stores.
The second floor food court looks very presentable and efficient. Just ask a security guard and they might be able to take you up there for a sneak peak!

“one of the greatest in richmond”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

The mall is located at 6551 No 3 Rd Richmond, BC. Lots of free parkings, can be easily reached by car, bus or skytrain ( centrally located right on #3 Road with excellent bus & new skytrain stop close by.) Busy. If you love crowds, come here and lots of asians. Food court has all the usuals: Starbucks, KFC, Opa, a substandard sushi place, Dairy Queen, White Spot... others. Richmond Centre has lots of good shops and you can easily kill some time here

“A decent shopping mall in City of Richmond”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2012

Visited the mall almost 1 - 2 times a week. It is currently under renovation as they have demolished the cinema and tried to move the food court upstairs. Being the largest and busiest mall of the city (followed by Lansdowne Mall & Aberdeen Centre), you will have good experience walking within and shops are well presentable - under N. American standard. There are lots of free parking spaces but can be full during weekend. The food court offers different kinds of dishes but prices are not cheap.

“My favorite mall for shopping”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2012

This mall is a manageable size that has a good balance of shops with an easy layout all on one level. Though they might be moving the food court upstairs now, and the larger Bay and Sears stores are 2 level. I like it better than Metrotown Mall in Van/Burnaby, which I find overwhelming huge and busy (but Metrotown is a better bet for younger teenagers go to see and be seen by other teens). Parking on the weekends can take some time, so I usually try heading for the rooftop parking (accessed near Saba Rd from No. 3 Rd). This mall is accessible by the Skytrain-Canada Line. [Metrotown in Burnaby, and Oakridge and Pacific Center malls in Vancouver (higher end), and Surrey Place Mall in Sry, are also accesible by Skytrain.]

Richmond Center isn't very fun for little kids though (except around Xmas). There is a disappointing play area (a small airplane), and a pet store next to a curry place. And the previous food court bathroom used to have a nice breastfeeding/diaper change area. You can borrow those "car" strollers. It gets better around Xmas time though, when they have elves (adults in costume) running around the place offering entertainment (elf yoga, crafts), handing out collector cards with their elf picture on them, and greeting the kids. Choices for little kids clothing are Mexx kids, Gap kids, The Children's Place, Gymboree, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. Annoyingly the Zara store here doesn't have kids clothing.

Lansdowne mall down the road doesn't have as many good shops, but is better for home items and has a Winners. The Annie's bakery the Asian bakery at Lansdowne is way better than the Asian bakery at Richmond Center though. Lansdowne is better for little kids too, as there's a ToysRUs and mechanical ride-on toys throughout. Also starting at Halloween through until Xmas there's a cool little train, carousel etc set up (have to pay per ride). Further down No.3 Rd you find the 3 Asian malls. Aberdeen mall at Cambie Rd is the newest and has a huge Japanese Daiso $2 store worth checking out. Yaohan Center and Parker Place are even more Asian with interesting food courts (where most employees can't speak English). These Asian malls are all great choices for girls who are sick of the usual mall shops and want to try to find some unique clothes, shoes, etc.
