From Checking in friendly smiles and accomodating and good knowledge of city
restaurant Buffet breakfast was well worth it lot of variety to choose, service excellent

This hotel reminded me of the Le Meridien Pacific in Tokyo. The rooms are quiet & spacious. We had a corner suite that had a really nice view of the mountains in the background from the mini-balcony and the large windows in the bedroom.

Although the bathroom was disproportionately small, the rest of the suite more than made up for it.

I reached the hotel late in the evening from LA . The kitchen closes at 10.30 pm at this hotel. So the staff at the room service wasnt keen to help me out with any vegeterian choice ( I being a vegeterian) . The internet connection in the room is pretty confusing.

Having said this, the front desk staff was efficient and so was the bell desk staff. I completed a post stay survey and basis my feedback I got prompt response from the Hotel GM , which is good. Improve service levels and this can be a good hotel to stay at, if you are on business.

Rather than staying at the Hilton downtown (with the noise and congestion) I decided to stay at this Hilton property located near the Vancouver airport. I am very, very glad I did.

This 18-floor hotel appears to have gone through a major renovation and updating (probably tied to the recent winter Olympics). The hotel is "like new" in all respects. Located very near YVR airport, the hotel is located within a cluster of hotels in a quiet commercial area. I had no trouble finding the hotel (I had a car) and the hotel runs a shuttle to/from the airport. Access to downtown is no problem at all: simply use the hotel's shuttle to/from the airport, then use the new rail system that connects the airport with the downtown core.

Parking ($13/day) is covered and connected to the hotel; check-in took about a minute and the front desk people were pleasant to work with. My room was on the 16th floor and was immaculate. I had everything I needed including a small fridge and a microwave oven. The work desk was large enough and this Hilton at least has a desk chair that is comfortable and functional. The rooms have large LG lat-panel TV's.

My room had a king bed, and the bedding (duvet) was spotless. The bathroom was a little on the small size (no big deal) and the shower had great water-flow.

If you can arrange it, try to get a room on one of the higher floors looking toward the airport. The view is great from the floor to ceiling windows.

In all respects this Hilton met all of my lodging needs, and at a reasonable rate (which included a very nice breakfast buffet). Whether you are transiting through YVR and need a place for the night before your flight, or whether you are in Vancouver on business or a vacation, in my view this hotel delivers in all respects. I recommend it to you and hope you'll enjoy your stay.

Stayed one night. Did not have a car in a part of town that almost requires a car. Best part of stay is that staff at front desk were very helpful and responsive. The rooms are in good shape and updated (not brand new). My room was quiet (did not even hear the typical slamming doors from other rooms). Unfortunately Wi-Fi only available in lobby. Overall good but for the price, not great. The gift shop was not open the entire time I was there. I had to walk (short walk) next door to the Sheraton's gift shop to buy some supplies. If you want to see Vancouver it is a $35-40 cab ride.
Recommend because it is updated and quiet. Not a particularly good value.

The staff here are very courteous and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and have provided the best service. Their bartenders are very friendly and interesting people, making having a couple beers a great time. Their restaurant is very good and their breakfast buffet was excellent. Their rooms are nice sized, very clean, and the beds are very comfortable.

I drove from Seattle and decided to stay here while visiting Vancouver to save a little money. Hotels in this area and Vancouver are expensive but by staying here and taking the SkyTrain to downtown Vancouver I saved a good amount of pocket change. The train station is only a 5-8 minute walk from the hotel lobby.

I highly recommend staying here and will do the same in the future!

Stayed for 3 nights following an Alaska land tour/cruise. The beds were so comfortable, and really suited our needs to catch up on a little bit of sleep following a long family vacation. Rooms was clean, lobby was clean. The only issue was the key cards kept having to be reset each day. Was a pain to go up the elevator, try the key multiple times and then go back down to the lobby. Not a huge issue, just an annoyance. We walked to the SkyTrain in Richmond with no issues. Hotel transport to airport was fine. Would recommend this hotel.
