“Taste Vancouver's Fishing Heritage”

Steveston is a fun spot for any visitor. Plan a morning or afternoon. Get there by car make a truly great trip out of it by cycling from Vancouver. All road cyclists who come to Vancouver eventually set out on a long-ride that includes Steveston. Super spot to reach, have coffee and continue on flatland roads with light traffic that understands how to accommodate road riders.

“Love this Lil town.....”

Great breakfast at a Coffee Shop, on the corner of Moncton Street and No.1 Road. Two doors down from Pharmasave. Awesome food at the Hotel. Best Pizza ever at the Steveston Pizza Place.

“A quaint village to spend the day!”

We did some star searching on the main street, went to the farmers market, down to the docks and talked to fishermen, and then a wonderful lunch at Tapenade! NIce place!

“An old world charm awaits you.”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

Steveston is a place where time has preserved its charm of century old fishing village. It is Perfect for lazy afternoon in a sun, or delightful meal in many of its restaurants right on the water’s edge. Whether you want to visit its farmers market, meet a friend for lunch, buy a fresh fish from the fishing boat, or just watch the sunset, it is all at your fingertips. No hassle, no rush, just an old world charm to enjoy..

“Seaside village in the city”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Small town feel beside the ocean. Great place for fish and chips. Try Dave's or Pajo's , both are good. Great walk around Garry Point or go the other direction to the Bunkhouse and other heritage buildings. All along the river is a great walk.
