“Fantastic Customer Service and Accomodations”

My wife and I spent 2 separate nights both coming into and leaving Vancouver. The room was clean and comfortable in all respects. When service was needed it was done quickly. All the staff were pleasant and accommodating at all times. The shuttle operates on time every time with drivers that are very helpful. Tivoli for breakfast is the place to go. The food from the buffet or a la carte was tasty and perfectly done. The service was also courteous and prompt. Ceilis Irish Pub is a great place to go enjoy some cocktails, good food (try the Poutine and the non-fat Bison Burger) and sports TV. Service there was also good. The front desk crew at the hotel were always very helpful, courteous and polite especially Helen, Laura and Sonia plus their male counterparts. Our shuttle driver, Adam, was also extremely helpful. At 10 minutes from the airport, it is convenient. What can I say, we were more than satisfied.

Room Tip: They are all descent, clean and quiet rooms

Staff was very nice and frindly, the room was clean, but space was two small (I booked 2 bed room type), evan living room and kitchen also. If the space can more big would be better.

In general to say: not perfect but oK to stay.

Sometimes its the details that count and what could have been a great hotel just wasnt quite there. On the good side the location is good, being close to the airport and downtown Richmond. Its quiet at night and the walls are thick enough that you dont hear the neighbors.Finally, the price is very reasonable. On the downside the rooms are dated;the exercise room is small, beat up and missing basic supplies such as cleaning equipment; the Trivoli restaurant is to be avoided.

They are two parts to this hotel, residences and regular hotel rooms. I have stayed in the residence part of the hotel and therefore this review is only applicable to that section of the hotel, however I would be really surprised if the other section was any better. Do not expect anything "executive" from this hotel. It's an average place and nothing more. There are two rooms, a kitchen and bathroom in each suite. The rooms although big in size are outdated, the carpets are old and dirty, the a/c and heater are very loud, the TV is old, the couch was sinking in the middle and the pull out bed was nothing more than bunch of springs covered by a blanket. The bedroom has that same dirty carpet, however the bed was comfortable except for the linen which felt heavy and made of really cheap material. The kitchen is basic but you can easily cook your meals there. The washer and dryer is also in the kitchen and both were really small but nice to have. The bathroom was like the rest of the place, outdated.
The hotel is located in Richmond so not much to do or see around, however a skytrain station is located about 15min walking distance which brings you downtown in about 40 min.

New Carpet, couches and all kitchen appliances shall update all units and make those a even more comfortable home away from home. Disappointing suite, with little space for a family of 4 (and we were only 3), bedrooms were fine, but the living area and kitchen were well below standard for a hotel of this so-called standard. Breakfast was average, much preferred the food in the nearby Sheraton which we used after the first breakfast here.

I found this hotel a great one to stay in while doing an over nighter between flights. I have stayed in other ones in the area and have found this one better. The room was enormous and very clean. The bed was so comfortable and so were the pillows. There was a fridge and coffee maker in the room and lots of room to spread out. A couch and chairs were also there yet I didn't feel cramped at all. The bathroom was great as well. I was placed in the older part of the hotel but the rooms have been refurbished and were very clean and well cared for. Room 121 was all by itself across from an elevator, yet I didn't hear any movement at all during the night. If you are not wishing to have room service come at 8.30 am like it did for me, place a do not disturb sign out when you go to bed. There is a pool on site and also a restaurant that does a buffet breakfast that looked great but I didn't actually eat there. The only thing that I would say that could use a little improvement is the room service is quite limited and most of the entre items were around 20 dollars or more. One item was 11. The restaurant on site is a steakhouse with only one item of chicken and one of salmon. The rest was steaks. For those wanting steak, it is great but if you are wanting other choices, this may not be the restaurant for you. The other option is a Irish Pub. I was unable to see if there were other restaurant choices in the area but I would bet the staff would be able to help find other options. They were fantastic in all questions I had; the check-in and check out was so quick and professional. The shuttle from the airport and to the airport was on time and fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. The only reason I gave a "very good" rating instead of excellent was because of the lack of choice on the food menu. Other than that, I would rate it excellent.

On arrival 1130am I was told the room was not ready and to return 2 00pm as check in was only 3 00. Not a great problem as gave me time for lunch . I received a key for a room on the first floor
which on opening the door was a drab dark version of a 1 star motel , When opening the curtains to let in some light there was someone on the other side looking in as he just got out of his car . The parking is right up to the building. If the hotel wants to keep their 3 star raiting these rooms have to go .
Fortunately on complaining I was given a corner room on the third floor that was the exact opposite of my first room possibly making it a four star hotel.
I give this hotel a very good rating based on this room and the helpfull staff that turned it around
especially Sonia at front desk and later Helen
FIRST IMPRESSIONS COUNT.

Room Tip: DO not take any room on the first floor unless you check it out
