Nothing to write home about. I recommend venturing out and finding something a little better. Hop the train into the city!

went there for dinner (was staying at the Hilton next door) and had an excellent steak and the waiter was very helpful in finding something for my wife (vegetarian and wheat intolerant) - they did a chefs salad with avocado and cheese which she enjoyed.

i had dinner one night and just happened to have breakfast there the next morning. dinner was very good and breakfast was awesome.
i had salmon benedict for breakfast which rocked. they give you a little pot of coffee which is nice so you don't have to keep waiting for more coffee.
for dinner i had fish over spaghetti which was also very good.
service was very good both times.
a little over-priced but at least it was very good.

We had dinner at the American Grille last evening on our way home from the airport. They validate parking in their parking lot for 2 hours. You just give your license number to the hostess. The ambiance is that of a typical hotel coffee shop. It’s a nice room but it is not meant for fine dining by any means, no linen on the tables and the décor is just that of a nice upscale coffee shop.

The service was very good considering how busy they were. We had a glass of wine each while we perused the menu. A basket of nice hot baquettes was brought to the table. They were really good and the butter was soft. A lovely start to dinner. My husband and I shared the mussels in white wine reduction with garlic, onions & tomatoes. They were served with fries. The mussels were very good but they were not as flavorful as some mussels I’ve had. For entrees I had the rack of lamb. I requested the lamb medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The lamb was so juicy and had a wonderful taste. The sauce was just perfect and did not overwhelm the lamb. It was a full rack of 8 and extremely good value at $28.00. My husband ended up eating about 1/3 of my lamb as there was so much of it. My husband had the smoked sable fish with honey miso glaze served with fingerling potatoes and baby bok choy. It was perfectly cooked. For dessert we shared a dessert that consisted of ice cream, chocolate syrup, lemon curds & meringue, bananas, whipped cream and nuts. Truly decadent.

A lovely evening and a good stop to or from the airport.

As a side note. The prices in the restaurant are considerably less than that shown on the front sheet of trip advisor. I don't think they had any entree over $30.00 so the food is very good value for the quality provided.
