We stayed as a family at this fabulous barn conversion. Alice was very helpful and made us feel right at home. Set in a beautiful village with wood smoked pizzas and a heated outdoor pool!!! The kids loved it. Definitely will be going back. Top rate accommodation.

We stayed with our two children in this cottage for 6 days..I am thrilled to know that this cottage is a listed building which dates to 17th century . Alice lives next door and is very friendly.
My kids loved staying here and enjoyed playing with their family dog ''Minnie''.
lovely views !!

Would love to come back and stay here again. Highly recommended.to anyone planning to visit lake district.

Reviewed July 5, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

we stayed in widewath farm in the month of may.
let me start by saying what a lovely location and such a welcoming family.
the farm itself is just about perfect for the place to explore from in every direction.
it has everything you need, beautiful kitchen, living space and bedroom.
not to mention a sublime shower (trust me after a long walk this shower is the best!!)
we cant recommend this place enough, fabulous holiday made more enjoyable by the place we called home for a week,, thank you very much!
see you all next year.
