We slept at this lovely B&B during our long trip in the Atlantic region. This is the best place to stop to visit the Rocks Parck where you can admire the legedendy Flower Pots.
The Owners love what they do as a living and you can see it in all details of this bilingual B&B.
Cozy, comfortable, charming, quiet and the breakfast with an espresso coffee...
For the dinner, they suggested a ranch a few km away where we had an excellent meal... probably the biggest plate during our trip..... Whit a caramel bread-pudding to conclude the meal....
we will return there for our next trip, Voilà!

We stayed at this lovely B&B towards the end of our five-week tour the the Atlantic Martimes. Our hosts, Sonya and Jeff, we great. When we arrived, Jeff was building something outside the barn. Sonya came out to greet us and made us welcome. The house itself is lovely and Sonya has done a great job decorating. Our room was very spacious and the bed was the best during our entire trip. We loved eveything about our room - "The Big Leaf." The next morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast tastefully prepared and artfully served by Sonya. If you plan to visit the Bay of Fundy, etc. check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: The Big Leaf - two beds, cross ventilation, nicely appointed and clean, nice-sized bathroom with tub...

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at the Maplegrove Inn during our trip to the Maritimes. The yellow exterior of the house was complimented with white trim and red doors. This was a welcome sight when we first arrived.

The hosts Sonja and Jeff made us feel most welcome in their home. The dining room was large and beautifully decorated. It was as nice as any dining room one would find in a quality restaurant. A large comfortable sitting room which overlooked their backyard included a fridge which was stocked with cold drinks for our enjoyment. Our room was the Red Maple which had a queen size four poster bed. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. There was floor heating which would be most enjoyed during cooler weather.

One of the unique features of The Maplegrove Inn is that guests are given a breakfast menu
and may choose one of several meal options. Our choices which included a seafood omelette, a bagel with poached egg and smoked salmon, and french toast with strawberry and cream cheese filling were absolutely delicious. They also offer a fine dining dinner menu, which is most uncommon for a B & B. We appreciated this since there are not many restaurants in the area. The food was prepared to perfection. We had a salad, our entree and dessert. It was worth every penny!

In the evening, Sonja and Jeff built a campfire in their backyard. We joined them, along with two other guests, and had a very entertaining and enjoyable conversation. It was a lovely and relaxing way to finish off our day.

We completely enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Maplegrove Inn. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hopewell Rocks or Fundy National Park.

Thank you Sonja and Jeff for making our stay such a memorable one.

Stay: Mountain Maple room, 1 night

Total B&B stays prior to this one: 2

Pros: Beautiful house, excellent breakfast, accommodating hosts, sauna

Cons: Sound travels easily into room

The inn is very easy to find, located just off of the main road going through Riverside Albert. It's a bright, cheery yellow and looks like it was recently renovated. The interior has a country-style home feel to it, and there is plenty of space to lounge inside or out. The complementary water and soft drinks are a nice touch to make one feel at home. The bedroom itself that we stayed in had a tasteful layout and a large, bright and spacious bathroom.

We stayed in the only ground floor room of the inn, right next to both the sitting room and the kitchen. This was a recent addition to the inn and it appears noise cancellation was not considered in the design. Any conversation from the sitting room could be heard rather easily as well as the morning bustle from the kitchen. This wasn't a major problem as quiet hours are set to 11 pm - 7 am but it does mean that ear plugs are recommended for light sleepers.

One of the best parts of the B&B was the breakfast. Unlike the more common choice of eggs with sausage/bacon, the breakfast menu included such items as a seafood omelette, bacon waffles, french toast sandwich with strawberry or raspberry filling, or lighter fare like yogurt and fresh berries (for more traditional B&B'ers the eggs/bacon/sausage combo was also available). It seems that the hosts pride themselves on being able to offer a great culinary experience, and there is the option for you to reserve a spot for a dinner at the inn.

Room Tip: Ground floor not recommended for light sleepers

Thank's for your review and feedback on the Mountain Maple Room.
After a many requests for a ground floor room, we repurposed space to add an additional room this year that would meet the needs of our guests. When planning the room we explored several options and due to the location of structure bearing walls we were forced with locating the new room adjacent to our common room. To help reduce the possibility of noise issues, we insulated all walls of the room and installed a solid wood door. We are very diligent to ensure that our quiet hours of 11pm-7:30 am are respected.

We stayed for one night. We absolutely loved this B&B. The host was so friendly! She made us feel right at home! The house had true New Brunswick charm, from the 1800's. Our room was very clean and cozy! The price for the night was so reasonable. We were really impressed when our host gave us a menu to choose from for our breakfast. Our host cooked us a gourmet breakfast that we will never forget! Fresh Orange juice and coffee, toast with jelly and fruit. The seafood omelette was excellent ! She also will make a fabulous gourmet dinner for you if you put your order in the evening before.
Next to the house was a beautiful walking trail that we really enjoyed.
We would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast. We were politely greeted upon arrival and given a tour of the house. Everything was clean and tidy and Sonja did a great job making us feel at home. Breakfast was tasty and and on time. We had several options to choose from. We had the french toast with strawberry & cream cheese filling as well as the bagel with poached egg, smoked salmon, and cream cheese. Both excellent choices!

Stayed here for two nights in July 2012, and would certainly go back. The house is very nice, with great spacious rooms, as well as a nice backyard if you want to lounge outside. Our room was the Sugar Maple room, and it had a nice bed, bathroom with classic old clawfoot bathtub, and was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent, and they let you select what you'd like to eat each evening for the next morning. This was a nice touch.

The location of the B&B was great - it was just a short drive to Hopewell Rocks, and Fundy Park. We also spent an evening in Alma, NB for dinner, which we would recommend. Yummy lobster at "Tides" restaurant.

Overall, a fabulous B&B, and highly recommended.
