If you are English DO NOT book this hotel!! I’m not exaggerating. We booked two weeks here and we just got back yesterday. I’ve never been pleased to get back from a summer holiday. I was ecstatic to get home from this one.

This hotel should not be classed as a five star it’s a three at best. The problems are many and varied I will try to keep it concise, but the list is long. If you want a 3 star Groundhog Day for two weeks book this....

Room dirty, food poor quality ingredients, terrible repetitive uninspired entertainment,
Terrible non branded booze and barmen don’t listen and are rude most drinks taste like fizzy pint stripper with a piece of melon in it. If you don’t smoke you will not be able to sit outside anywhere at the pool or in the restaurant or pool bar without being smoked out by other guests. Pool music is loud and repetitive you cannot relax at the pool. Entertainment staff are irritating and lechy if your partner is good looking.
Wild animals like macaws and monkeys are brought in and yanked about treated badly for photos then you are hassled to buy the photos every time you go to the pool. Complaints ignored. We took video and will post on YouTube.
family room is cramped and had to go through one bedroom to get to bathroom. Over looked a busy road and the hotel opppsite had terrible euro trance pop music on from about 10am to 11.30pm - 12am on full blast Every day without fail.
Repeated attempts to move rooms, address issues were ignored rudely. Toilets outside the rooms in the lobby etc were filthy.

Some staff were very nice and particularly Burak and Sinan were a credit to the hotel. However most were abrupt and rude. As were many other guests who were mainly Turkish German and Russian. We were amongst two or three families from England. Don’t expect a thank you if you hold the door or the lift for anyone and don’t expect any of the usual courtesy you’d expect in the UK around smoking.

If you are English and used to nice quality meats, pastries you will be stuck with fake cold rubbery meats terrible cheeses and stale cereals, over boiled sprouts and cauliflower for breakfast. No attention to the quality of ingredients. You will struggle to enjoy a breakfast don’t expect anything in an English breakfast. Fruit was good and omelette ladies are really nice and do a good omelette withstanding the rubbery unidentifiable meat in it.

I could go on and we took video and photos and our travel agent refunded us 20% because we supplied all the videos and photos.

This hotel is not set up for English people and definitely caters for German Turkish and Russians which is cool so long as you know that’s the case before book it.

After reading some of the latest negative reviews about this hotel we was very dubious about going but decided we would make up our own minds when we got there and I’m so glad we made that decision. I’m Guessing the last negative comments must of just had bad luck as the hotel was amazing, lots of variety of food and desserts and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and spoke in English when we spoke with them, rooms cleaned daily, towels changed every few days or daily if left on the floor and the free mini bar in the room was topped up daily with water and fizzy drinks. The free ice cream was very nice 2 scoops every time and Wait for it not to bad. It does say not to reserve sun beds but we found that after 8/9 am the beds had gone so we would go to breakfast early and get our sun loungers after or put our towels out as others were also doing this. yes the pool is slippery when you get out as safety tiles stop just before the grating around the pool so I would suggest aqua shoes in the pool like our 8 year old wore or take care when getting out or walking around the edge of the pool but you soon get used to doing the duck walk lol.Only criticism would be for the entertainment team as unless they know a British family was there they never spoke in English.
If your going to book days out I would do it outside the hotel and not with the reps as the reps charge the earth, we done a full days Jeep safari and paid over €150 for 4 people with the hotel rep then went and booked a full days white water rafting combined with a jeep safari for €35 each and €15 for our son including lunch but drinks were extra this was also the case with the days out booked with the reps. Plenty of shops 5 mins up the road. Beach 5 mins away via the hotel bus that runs every 10 minutes.
I would definitely go back to this hotel and would definitely recommend it. 5 stars all the way
