The first question that pops to mind is who rated this hotel? If it was Loveholidays they got this seriously wrong. If they accepted what the hotel group put forward with out checking it, Love holidays need to review their practices as their advertised 5 star rating of this hotel and also the Crown Serenity (and perhaps other hotels) is misleading. I want my money back! I would give this hotel 3 stars and I'm feeling generous today.
There is a lack of pool staff and waiters. Its overcrowded as the pools dont have enough space to accommodate the hotels capacity. There are no non slip tiles around the pool or through out the hotel, ive slipped and fallen three times and my daughter has slipped best part of 15 tines. I saw a pool guard today for the first time, he hung around for 30 mins, havent seen him since!
The food all tastes the same. Its loaded with oil and salt, to the point its inedible. The fruit is tastless and the deserts are pure sugar. I asked a waiter for some yogurt and he told me to go get it myself from the restaurant, then he pretended not to speak/understand english! Whilst on the subject no one speaks english, or rather its their way of ignoring you.
TV and entertainment is all in German.
If you want ice cream along with all the other guests you have a one hour window only. You should see the queue! They then ration the portion to half a scoop. There are no snack bars either, so bfast lunch and dinner. There's only one bar open servicing the outside pool areas.
Hot water required for an early evening shower, we were told to wait 20 mins! This happened two nights on the trot and we've only been here 3 nights! The air con in the room doesnt work. They covered up the mould in the bathroom with mastic, after we complained. The shower leaks and seeps through to the bedroom floor which is made of cheap laminate, 5 star, really! Im sitting down to dinner as I write this, the vacant tables are dirty, they either havent cleaned up or not cleaned the tables down properly, table linen is reused if its not too soiled. I sent the first plate of food back as the meat was raw. I took the second plate of food to the manager as the chip were stale and cold. Third time lucky?!
Dont expect a tea spoon, you get a wooden
stirrer. Don't expect a big complex of any space around the pool. Do expect to slip on
the awful tiles around the pool every ten seconds. If you are english, the only chance you have is the music by the pool but everything is German or turkish. We booked a 5 star hotel and got a below average 3 star, shame on you Love Holidays who have asked us to itemise whats wrong. IT IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL. Is that clear enough?

After saving for a celebratory end of exam holiday with my son we decided to go to Turkey as weather is good I picked a 5 star hotel therefore had certain expectations that were not met. One of the most disturbing things was the inherent lack of animal welfare a chained monkey was forced around to unwilling guests to have photos taken with this poor and obviously disturbed animal. I found this very sickening to watch and brought this to one of the managers attention I was dismissed and laughed at which made me feel very uncomfortable and devastated for this poor monkey. As I said prior booking into a 5 star hotel you have certain expectations and after this incident I was made to feel uncomfortable and unsafe and unwelcome by staff and managers alike. Disappointed is an understatement.

Hotel was nice, room was okay! Lovely shower! Overlooked the road and mosque.
The food was okay however strongly suggest eating out as food is much nicer out of the hotel. They had lovely meringues and rice pudding. We enjoyed waffle time around the pool.
We didn’t see any entertainment. Not sure if it was on on the Sunday and didn’t stay to watch it Monday night. Entertainment team had some activities discretely on throughout the day.

The waterslides are really good fun!

Our main issue was that we were woken at 1am by reception calling our room to say there was an issue and to go down to reception at 8am. Obviously we were upset and anxious about this! Turns out they had lost our booking voucher. This obviously did not need to be sorted at 1am.

Hairdresser was very nice.
