“Charming, well equipped, clean little cottage in lovely village.”

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely little cottage.
It was clean and very well equipped, very much a home from home.
Whilst basic, it is wholly adequate with all essentials and lots of nice touches.
Biggin is a lovely tranquil village, surrounded by fields.
Excellent walking from the door and close by.
3 adults in our party, sitting room small, but we had plenty of space for the three of us.
Would happily stay here again.

Firstly the price of this rental is amazing! The location is great - pretty central to the Peak District. We found it very easy to find coming off the M1.

The House itself has everything you need - kitchen is full of utensils, there is a powerful shower, an open fire and 2 comfortably big bedrooms. The garden is big enough for a bbq and relaxation (if you are lucky enough for the sun to shine!) There are a wealth of board games for entertainment too. Everything you need. No wi-fi or signal which makes it a perfect busy life get away :) There is a phone if you need to use it with an honesty box.

Location is lovely. A pub literally 5 minutes down the road - we saw great live music on the Saturday night and have a good selection of meals and drinks. That is all you will find in the village but just a 5-10 minute drive away will take you to Hartington which has about 3 drinking places, cafes and shops. Ashbourne is also close which is a lot bigger.

Back to the cottage/Biggin - there are plenty of walks to do near too and lovely views.

Also the neighbour, David, is a gem - the lads wanted to watch football and couldn't find anywhere it was on so asked if he might know somewhere and he invited us round to watch it at his for the evening! He is ever so friendly and helpful and seems like the type who is happy to give anyone his time and pass on his knowledge!

A really lovely stay and we hope to return soon! Thank you.
