After being delayed due to the months spend building a new bike lane at the museum, finally got to the aviation section. A very sad and disappointing day. Aircraft presented in a dark hanger, little explanation, few stories, not linkage of the planes to interesting stories. Very very sad. Not a touch on international museums I have been to or the Blenheim museum or Ardmore warbirds. Perhaps gift these planes back to museums that actually care about these aircraft rather than poorly run by the city council.

Interesting place to visit provoking memories for adults and providing fun stuff for kids to explore
Well laid out, suitable for all weather's as can dodge in and out of various buildings

Free entry for Goldcard holders, so take your grandkids along. As a first time visitor it was interesting in parts especially if you have a science bent.
Pumphouse is a must.

I thought there would be more to it than what is there - it was almost disappointing. There wasn't much that was interactive.

Really disappointed that half is closed including the aviation display. What is there is pretty disappointing. The science exhibition is extremely boring

It's over fifty years since we last visited this attraction and were a little disappointed that not much had changed over the years. Everything was well-presented, the staff were helpful and welcoming, and the café was okay considering the current Covid situation. It was clean and well-spaced out, but the menu was pretty limited. Some exhibits were closed, so the tram ride was cut short.
