Stopped by the Parnell district as part of our tour of Auckland. Had a wonderful breakfast - the kids had delicious pancakes and I enjoyed the mussel fritters. The menu was nicely sized, with a great selection of local ingredients. Service was attentive. A very nice spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch.

We had lunch at the Alphabet Bistro after spending the morning walking around Parnell. What a great find! The tables spread out onto the sidewalk and looked wonderful in the afternoon sunshine.
We were quickly seated and directed to the specials on the chalk board menu. My husband had the bruschetta, which came with avocado slices and fresh tomatoes drizzled with balsomic vinegar. Lovely. I chose a greek salad with added chicken. It was fresh, crispy and very flavorful.
The service was friendly and efficient.
One of our best "finds" on our trip to Auckland. Highly recommended.

Good food and attentive service (which is rare in Auckland). Busy for Sunday brunch.

They have very nice coffee in here with reasonable price. The sandwich and panini on display are also cheap comparing to other cafes on Parnell. Price range for the panini are $6-$7, with other sweet stuff at $4 more or less. The breakfast menu is quite expensive, but still worth to try, for example the salmon and bagel, which has very nice dressing, but costs $15. Overall, we like this cafe for the food and the atmosphere they offer!
