I’ve been to this central Auckland restaurant a couple of times and Ebusu never disappoints.
The restaurant is upmarket, with a buzzy vibe. Ebisu utilises great local ingredients with contemporary Japanese recipes and gets it right.
Menu highlights include the Beef Tataki, Bluff oysters (if in season), Twice cooked Pork Belly and wonderful sashimi.
The wine list is proficient, many wines are available by the glass.
It’s not a cheap night out- but it’s definitely worth the experience.
