We popped into Portofino's for dinner on a Sunday evening in the low season but there was a birthday party for 30 persons so it was very busy with a buzzing atmosphere. The restaurant is upstairs and you need to walk around the back of the building to access it but the food and ambiance is well worth it.The decor is modern, clean , with wonderful pictures of Portofino in Italy. The menu covers all the bases on Italian food with a great selection of dishes. The service was very friendly and quick. All 3 dishes we tried ( entrees plus 2 mains) were absolutely delicious, served on hot plates and the white wine had the ice bucket to ensure it was perfect. A busy restaurant with a great atmosphere, tasty well presented food and friendly service. Well worth a visit and we would go back time and time again if we lived locally!
