We had two nights dinner here. Menu dishes are quite well picked , variation satisfactory. Lamb, beef, chicken, seafood, pasta and pizza. That are servicing in good designed plates. Mine and my wife foods were cooked properly and were tasty. I liked their coffee too but we have not desert so I have no idea. Service people were always smily hospitality friendly and locally. Price are similar as other restaurants around. I highly recommending you if you stop by Devonport, Manuka is good choose for a cup of coffee, or beer or food.

We sat at an outside table and service was friendly and swift.
Chicken pie $14.80 was large.
Beer was cold, we were happy.

Situated on Victoria street which is the main street in Devonport the cafe is housed on the ground floor of an Heritage building. It can hold about 50-60 people in house and around 20 to 25 out doors. Decor is very English cottage style and it seems to be very popular amongst the locals and tourists in Devonport.
Their wood fired pizzas are recommended and they have special summer menus with a greater range of fish and you are tempted to try the delicious steak, succulent lamb or Chicken dishes. The range of salads with fresh ingredients is really good and they also offer some gluten free options. Open for Breakfast lunch, and Dinner, wine list is decent and they also serve boutique beer each day on the tap. It is also a nice place to catch up over coffee. The only drawback was that service was very slow.

We had a great time here ! The Rare Tuna was great and the Steak was fantastic ! The food is delicious and in the plate look beautiful ! You can have water and a good service ! It was just a mess in the check time because you can see what are paying clearly. The dessert options are great !

We often eat here and the food is always delicious. The Caesar salad is the best in Auckland! Heaps of bacon, croutons, crisp lettuce, anchovies and a perfectly poached egg on top! Divine!Tables on the street or eat inside. Nice setting just up from the ferry.Excellent service.
