Our group had arrived on a Monday when we decided to explore the city and enjoy the sights right away. That same day we took the ferry to Devonport. Must say it was such a pleasant trip (if you dont get sea sick) and very economical. The weather was a bit cold and breazy, but with patchy skies and plenty of sun, we enjoyed every minute of it. The walk towards the bunker was pleasant and we took lots of pictures as we got closer. Once at the top, we were treated with outstanding views of the city. Must say that its much better, and a different experience, when the sun is out.
It was great to have taken the time to visit. A stop on the way back at a cafe added a calm and relaxing touch to our afternoon. Highly recommended!
