We picked a good day to eat outside but the seating at Torpedo was sheltered from the prevailing wind and we soaked up the sunshine as we chatted and waited for our food. Order at the counter from an extensive blackboard menu, all day breakfasts with grainy breads and fresh eggs and good quality bacon, hash cakes with crab and salmon and salads and smoothies with banana and ice cream or berries that are fresh tasting and not loaded with syrupy sweet fillers, and of course great barista coffee and friendly quick service. We paid $42 approx for two people, to have a large smoothie each and a decent sized cooked meal with salad. Definitely somewhere to go back to again.

The new cafe at the navy museum is a good spot for a decent cafe lunch, with a nice view of the harbor. Standard cafe fare, done well, with reasonable coffee.

Beautiful locality with fine view on sunny day. Some outdoor seating but not good on a very windy day. Our walking group of ten like it but the service was very slow with some of us almost finished by the time the last one was served. Good coffee & Good muffins. The new owners need to speed things up a bit as the locality has a lot going for it with the view and off the beaten track is quieter than many places.

This little cafe has become one of our favourite places to meet as an extended family due to the fantastic food, friendly service and awesome location. The new extensions to the wooden deck has added a wonderful new dimension. We highly recommend this little gem!
