Firstly, love the new decor, especially the booths, much more private and comfy! We where seated in the garden at first, but was too cold for us, so Magda the manager very kindly sorted a booth for us in the restaurant which was great, and was no mean feat on a busy Friday night. Our waitress (Lydia , I think) was very warm, friendly, professional, nothing was to much trouble for this lovely lady, she made us feel very much at home, everything from the drinks to the orders being taken was quickly and effecient, we where told as soon as we where seated what wasn't available from the menu, which was just one dish, which none of us wanted anyway, all good. We enjoyed our platter starter of different meats, warm bread, olives and dips, very nice, our drinks where served at just the right temperature,(ie the beer was ice cold) . Our main meals where hot, tasty and plentiful, apart from the roast chicken that was very dry, not so good, the mussels a frites where excellent as where the cafe rouge burger. What topped it for us other than the great service was the 25% off code we had, so we basically had one of the meals for free, we need more of this from restaurants in these financially hard times. Well done Cafe Rouge!
