“Fun and informative museum”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

This was, by far, the most informative museum wine that I've ever seen/visited. Everything from the artifacts, videos, panels, books, sensory experiences made our trip worthwhile. Just last week I found a wine shop near me that sells Dinastia Vivanco crianza.

“Elegant and instructive”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

A nice museum with lots of artifacts and covering issues not so often found in wine museums, like the art pieces related with wine.

This is an excellent set up. The amount of history and exhibit put together is amazing. You will know so much about the wine industry after this visit.

“A valuable asset to the area with some great museum piecs”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

While this location has a musuem, winery, tasting, cooking school and restaurant, we only visited the museum. Allow a good hour depending on how much detail you want to see. This is a great collection of artifacts, both ancient and modern, and the research and presentation is very good. The museum is located over 5 rooms which each deal with a different aspect of wine-making. All of the pieces are carefully catalogued so it is not really necessary to take the audio guide. In fact the audio set, while very modern, was a bit temperamental and I noticed that most people gave up on it fairly quickly so save your 3 Euros and just read the info in each room. Visually, this presentation is delightful. The souvenir shop is nicely laid out and had a lot of wine related products however I would have liked more souvenirs of the Vivanco visit rather than generic items which can be bought anywhere in the world. I exclude the wines from this as we did not purchase due to difficulty in transporting wine to North America.
