We stayed here for my birthday and valentines day it is a lovely place and the spa room we stayed in had a great 4 post king size bed the bath room was very clean and well presented.
The room had tea and coffee with fresh milk available and cold bottled water in a fridge just outside the room.
A very good choice for breakfast and very good quality food the staff are very friendly and helpfull we will be booking again in the future.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment with an extra bed which was great for our family of 5. The extra bed was in the dining area so the bedroom wasn't cramped. We had room to stretch out and kids could play. Has a kitchenette so bought dinner at the supermarket after a day in york. Breakfast was great - selection of cereals and lovely cooked breakfast. It is 10 miles out of your and there is not much in the local area, so just make sure you are organised dinner-wise. First night we got takeaways from the local pub which is a restaurant - the rest of the family were sick of Indian so got food with chips, but I ate it and can recommend! When we came back from a day at york the curtains were closed for us and heating was on (we turned it down when we left). Oh loved the bathrobes and the shower is fantastic! My husband is disabled with a paralysed leg and arm, and the bathroom was perfect for him.

This is the third time my wife and i have stayed at The Manor House and each time we have stayed we have recieved a warm and friendly welcome from our hosts. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast was second to none. Well worth a visit if you want to stay close to York but not actually in the City itself.

I've been coming here for several years. The Manor house is a refresing alternative to city centre B & Bs. It's quiet, the rooms are comfortable and, when available, the owners can also cook an excellent evening meal, although there is an excellent gastro pub 5 minutes drive away in Newton-on-Ouse. There is a local bus service into York but there's an excellent park 'n' ride about 20 mins drive away from the B & B which takes you straight into the centre of York (stopping ať the National Railway Museum on the way). It's a pleasant location on the outskirts of Linton- on-Ouse.

This is a lovely place, the rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The en-suite facilities are very nice with good quality fittings. It's set in a peaceful village but is just a short drive to York or Harrogate. There's a nice guest lounge with big comfy sofas to relax in and a decent little pub a short walk down the road. There was plenty of choice for breakfast whatever your taste or appetite and it was all delicious and nicely presented.
We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely go there again.

Spent 2 nights at The Manor House B&B on the 28th & 29th of June 2013. myself and my partner Michelle stayed in Room 7. our hosts Jannet & Ken where fantastic very polite and helpfull. The room was lovely with a 4 poster bed and lovely looking interior decor. Breakfest was fantastic 10/10 for Jannets home made cooking. Overall a great place to stay and great value for money. We hope to be back soon. :)
