We stayed here on our way back home from a trip to Scotland. Good family room with a separate room off ours for our daughter. Dinner in the evening was fine, but the real highlight was breakfast, which was excellent. Superb poached eggs, local sausages, perfectly cooked all round. The village is very pretty.

On our way home from a walk in the North York Moors we wanted some Sunday Lunch and a drink. We'd heard good things about this place and weren't dissapointed at all.

The venue has a lovely atmosphere and is clearly well frequented by locals, we ordered some ale and two Sunday lunches totalling £22.05 which for us is a bargain. The portions were generous and delicious and we'll certainly go back again. The staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming.

What a lovely village Kilburn is and the Forresters Arms is the icing on the cake.
A proper village pub where the staff know ALL of the locals.
The bar staff are fantastic hard working they put the customer first.
My room (no 1) was smashing. Clean warm it even has a bath.
The lovely towels were just the job after a red hot powerful shower.
Good pub grub with some variations from the usual menu;s on offer.
The beer is fantastic, give the Stowford Press cider a go!
the next time i visit North Yorkshire I will stay here.

Room Tip: Room 1 is on the ground floor at the back of the pub BUT its right next to a decking area which is the designated smoking area, As a none smoker this would be a problem in the warmer weather when the windows would be open.

Stayed 3 nights beginning of February with our 2 dogs Lily and Oscar. Dawn and Nigel as welcoming as they always are and the rest of the staff and locals as friendly as ever. Only stayed twice at the pub although we have been to 2 New Year Eves. Food very good and the room was lovely and big. We had a wonderful few days and look forward to our next visit.

Computer wouldn't allow us to select ratings but as stated above the rooms food and everything else was excellent.

Elaine and Tom..........and thanks from Oscar and Lily.

Room Tip: We have stayed in 2 different rooms and they were both very good.
