My boyfriend and I stayed here for two night this past February. I had not realized how far the B&B was from the train station, so we walked there with all our luggage. It was probably a mile/mile and a half, which is hard with a heavy backpack and suitcase. Wisely, we took a cab back to the station when we left (nicely arranged for us by the staff at the B&B), and it was only about 5 pounds. However, the plus side of the distance was the quiet location of the Guest House.
The room was an average size, with a sink in the corner and a very comfortable bed. We had a double room with shared facilities, which were just down the hallway and very convenient, as there were two bathrooms and a separate shower room. The breakfast in the morning is hearty. After the first morning, I asked if I could substitute extra beans for the sausages the next morning, and they remembered! You don't really see the owners, except at breakfast, check in, and check out times. But each time we did, they were very nice and helpful.
Overall, it's a great value if you don't mind the walk.
