“A Value Hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2012

GREAT PLACE for its rate esp for those on a budget vacationers. We definitely recommend it. A 10min taxi ride to the nearest MRT station, 10min taxi ride to Greenhills Shopping Center. There are also jeepneys just right in front of the hotel. The hotel personnelcc are very pleasant and friendly. There was even a hotel staff who even went out his way just to make sure the things that we requested for was made possible. They surely did their best to accommodate the needs of their guests. There are 3 levels for this budget hotel. No elevator BUT there are rooms available at the ground floor for the elderly and for those who prefer not to take extra flight. Upon entering, there's a cozy resto which serves as the lobby and dinning area. there's also a mini bar and the reception area. At the 2nd & 3rd level, one finds a spacious and cozy sitting area. Rooms are just enough depending on the room type you choose. Clean rooms, toilet are just right with Hot & Cold shower (the solid wood bathroom is timeless:) ). AC,TV (cable), Telephone and Internet ( Available at the lobby area.) We travel as a family and it was a great experience for us. We will surely be staying again in this place in our future travel.

Room Tip: Rooms at the 2nd or 3rd level if you want less noise. Elders or people who have problems taking hike...

Stayed here last January 13-16, 2012

PROS. 1. Staff and service was very good. 2. Free breakfast was yummy for a budget hotel, free coffee 3. No service charge 4. Room is small, but expected, however it was very clean and it smells good. 5. WIFI was fast and free. 6. Their restaurant also serve affordable and delicious food.Limited to pizza and the like though. 7. We had a lot of food delivered to the hotel and there's no additional corkage for that. which was again very good.

CONS. 1. Room is too dark. Not enough light. 2. Location is accessible, however, it was initially hard to find, and the front view was a very bad sight of an ugly neighborhood.

When I tried to book online through their website, the dates I preferred were unavailable. Good thing I was able to contact the front desk and was able to reserve a room.

The flat rate taxi from the airport cost us P630. Our room was ready when we arrived. The staff were friendly and quickly checked us in.

For the price we paid which included breakfast for 2, we believe we got a fair deal:

The room was clean. It wasn't spacious but it wasn't cramped either. It was well-lighted. The air conditioner and the TV were old but worked fine. There were lots of channels to surf. There were also lots of electrical sockets to charge phones and gadgets. A telephone allowed us to call the front desk or other rooms.

The bed was comfortable but we only had a pillow each and they were sagging. I guess as with everything, they were also old.

There was free wi-fi but it was only available in the lobby and in ground floor rooms. For seniors, it's best to ask for these rooms as the hotel does not have an elevator.

The bathroom could use a make-over. The items in there were quite old, even the towels have turned gray already. The water heater, although also old, worked well. Just had to cover the small window with a plastic bag when we were there because the tint had peeled off and I think the higher rooms could take a peek if they wanted to.

Other guests could be quite boisterous at the lobby even late into the night and the staff does not do anything about their noise.

Breakfast was always an egg cooked sunny-side up, a cup of rice, "something," and coffee. On our first day, the something was 2 chicken hotdogs, on our second day, it was 2 slices of a sorta ham, on our third day corned beef with potatoes as extenders, and on our fourth day, a repeat of 2 chicken hotdogs.

We had trouble getting a taxi from the hotel on our first day but encountered no difficulty on succeeding days. There were no convenience stores around but the hotel was quite near Greenhills Shopping Center (about P75 away by taxi).

We stayed at this hotel because it was the closest one within our budget to where we needed to go. Should we need to be in the area again, we will most probably stay there.

My second time to stay here. Service has immensely improved, with generous price discount given. Clean rooms, free breakfast and wifi!

Our main reason for staying at this hotel was its close proximity to Greenhills Shopping Center and Isarog bus station, where the bus from Naga to Manila arrives. In fact, the location was quite good for getting to the Greenhills Shopping Center, so we weren't disappointed. For exploring other parts of Manila, we would prefer to stay in the Ermita district of Manila.

We stayed in a standard room that we found quite small, but sufficient for a short stay. The bathroom was proportionally small. There was a window in the bathroom that let in a lot of light, but unfortunately was stuck and could not be fully closed. The room had A/C and a television set. Free wireless internet was only available in the lobby and restaurant, but was nice to have considering the hotel was so cheap.

Our stay here was limited but was sufficient for what we were looking for. We only had a few hours of rest before shopping for the final time at the Greenhills Shopping Center and departing to our next destination. This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. It was affordable, clean and provided all the amenities that we needed for our short stay. The location made it convenient for a quick shopping spree before departing to the airport.

Don't expect room service since the chef goes home at 10 am. Yes-Shocking. They gave me a flyer for food delivery instead. No convenience store or restaurants nearby. Window locks were not working which bothered me since somebody might break in. My room was near the road and it was sooooo noisy and I was up till 3 am. My only consolation was the cable tv that had my favorite show.
