“Very pretty”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

Well worth a quick visit if your on a tour or nearby. Not sure if it would be worth a long journey just to see it tho!! It is exactly what it says a green lake and its defo worth a photo and is stunning to look at.

“Photographers paradise”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

5 stars for sheer beauty, photographers paradise. Lagoons can't dance and sing -take it for what it is - a natural phenomenon - and have a lovely meal in El Golfo then drive up the road to Los Hervideros with its fantastic coast, go home and marvel at Earths magic :-)

“Yeah so?”
Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

A bit pointless really. The view is great yeah but it's just a river that's green due to algae. What's the big deal?

“I thought that this was Charco de los Ciclos”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

So, it has two names.

Great short hike into this area from parking lot by El Golfo. Spectacular colours. On a clear day, it is absolutely amazing (apparently we lucked out as there aren't many non African sand storm days).

Well worth a drive.

“A bit out of the way but worth visiting”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

Located near a fishing village, El Lago Verde is a green lake which is simply worth visiting because of the unusual colour. I'd recommend it.
