We had a lovely grilled fish platter at this hidden gem.
I say hidden gem because it looks fairly downtrodden from the front, but there is a terrace facing the sea which is absolutely idyllic. Only a few meters from the sea, in a lovely rustic setting. This is the point which makes it a five-star for me - this is probably a very good four star local restaurant in an unbeatable setting.
If you're going to El Golfo, you may as well have the famous fish. We did and it was excellent with the papas and mojo.
One tip is to order some extra papas arrugadas if you're having the sharing fish platter.
The puddings didn't tempt us so we passed - in hindsight, maybe have a starter instead of saving room for dessert.
It's not genuinely cheap, but nor did we feel cheated; evidentially a reasonable price.
