An excellent refurbishment of an old terraced property within the bustling village of Montcuq.
Clean, well equipped and good location for all the village amenities, vis: Sunday market, local supermarket, library, Post office, bars and restaurants etc, plus Doctors if necessary.
The owner had gone to a great deal of trouble to make the apartment bright and welcoming. Everything was as advertised.
The only downside was the lack of any view from the property but this had not been expected. However, whilst we would not wish to stay here for more than a week being a ground floor apartment, it suited our particular needs at the time to relax and read and take in the atmosphere within the village.
The owner and her daughter could not have been more welcoming or helpful on our arrival which had been delayed due to major traffic hold-ups.
We would certainly recommend La Rapaillou to a couple wanting peace and quiet in a stunning apartment yet within minutes of all the activity within Montcuq. It is also a great spot for visiting Cahors and the Lot valley without the need to stay either in a small remote hamlet or in a large town such as Cahors.,
