Found this campsite as it was near to Grizedale forest for the cycling tracks. I booked into one of the larger Yurts and this was our first time, it was definitely more glamping than camping with our yurt having futons, cooking facilities and a woodburner. We took far too much as there was also crockery and washing up bowl etc, The campsite itself is on a working farm so don't expect 5 star but do expect clean showers and toilets and one of the nicest, most accommodating owners I have ever met. Arthur couldn't do enough for you and was happy to help out at any time. I took 2 boys age 12 who loved playing with the dogs on the farm and swimming in the river then being able to relax around the campfires which you could build, with Arthur bringing round wood every day to buy if you wanted. Overall a fantastic holiday where you can do as much or as little as you like, will certainly go back.
