“A week in Scotland”

This was our first visit to Brunston Castle as part of a Seasons family holiday. My eight year old daughter made friends within minutes of arriving and it did not take long before my my ten year old son was out playing with the other children.

The accommodation was spacious, the grounds and surrounding areas perfect to let the kids out without a worry. Scenery is fantastic. Short and scenic walk to the village made things very convenient. Not far from a major supermarket. Helpful staff and lots of on sight activities available. That's the domestics done.

For family fun, lots of day trips taken, seaside, castle and grounds and Dowhill Country Fayre as a treat.

Brunston Castle is a fantastic place, particularly if you have kids and want to feel comfortable in just letting them play around the grounds.

This is the third time that we have visited Brunston Castle. It never disappoints.
The quality of the accommodation is up to the usual Seasons high standard.
Being able to park immediately outside is a bonus.
The scenery is breathtaking. We are very keen on observing wildlife and the beautiful Water of a Girvan runs through the golf course adjoining the resort. We had previously ventured into the Scottish Highlands, but now feel that Ayreshire has just as much to offer.
Can't wait to visit Brunston again.

What a beautiful Country and Area where Brunston Castle is situated. Its quiet and so beautiful we have spend a lot of time on our Veranda. We were close to the reception area and we were able to connect to the Wi fi connection from our house. We had a friendly warm welcome from the reception staff, and had a wonderful time with our grandchildren in the heated pool. The 3 bedroom Cottage were clean and spacious, and although the weather was very cold for us, (South Africans), the central heating was super. The beds were comfy and we had an absolute ball. Next time i will stay for 2 weeks instead of 1 week to see the beautiful villages and scenery in Scotland. The names Ayrshire, Daily, Gervin and Brunston, will always bring back special memories for us.

We spent a lovely holiday here. The lodges are really excellent, so well equipped with high quality equipment, very roomy with loads of storage space. The swimming pool area was also good and the comfortable lounge area with wi-fi, had loads of information about the local area. The receptionists were also very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. The only thing missing is a restaurant on site, but there is a selection of eating paces in the local village.

We can't praise Seasons enough for this EXCELLENT place. On arrival the staff made us very welcome (with the typical warm Scottish hospitality) and throughout our stay at Brunston they were always very friendly and very helpful, yet very professional. The lodge itself was excellent and we couldn't find any faults, the facilities were brilliant, and they have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. We found their wide range of brochures and leaflets helpful in deciding the places to visit. This was the perfect place to stay for our wedding anniversary and it's so refreshing to get value for money.
On our previous visits to Scotland we tended to visit the Highlands, which of course are fantastic but this part of Scotland is so beautiful and there are plenty of places to visit to suit a wide variety of choices. Brunston itself is set in very idyllic part of Ayrshire so relaxing and very beautiful.
You will not be disappointed in choosing a holiday at Brunston Castle. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it. We are looking forward so much to our next visit.
The only downside is the ROADS! Part of the road leading to Brunston had a lot of pot holes. But this is no great problem.

Being a seasons owner for many years this was our first visit and my wife's first visit to Scotland the three bed lodge we were given was superb it was very clean and we had lovely views of the surrounding countryside ,yes there were other lodges nearby but they did not spoil the view ,the weather during the week that we were there was warm enough to allow us to sit on the balcony and exchange pleasantries with our neighbours .whilst the resort does not have a restaurant the nearby golf club does it's only a short walk to some surprisingly good food. We used Brunston castle as a base for exploring the west coast which we did to great effect during our weeks stay at the resort ,this was all helped by the reception staff who gave us great ideas as to where to go. We will certainly be coming back.

A really lovely site, the 3 bed cottages are clean and spacious. We enjoyed most of our meals out on the decking overlooking stunning views.
True, it is in the middle of nowhere, meaning a car trip for everything, but that's how we like it.
Only down side is on previous visits we had a brilliant 'Scotish Evening' in the bar area, with a local couple playing the bagpipes. This has sadly all gone....such a shame, things like that are what makes holidays special!.
Would go again and again, and would recommend this site to anyone who wants a 'get away from it all' break.
