We spent a long weekend there with two little children.
Food was good, rooms OK but a little old. The stuff was absolutely great and gave superb service.
For the kids there are many attractions like a small water jet, Jamboree etc. The only problem we noticed was that the big pool is outside the hotel, it's not that comfortable to walk to it and you must take the towels with you as this is a public pool.
Take into consideration that the hotel is 5 min. travel from Abu Gosh where you can buy great cheap food and excellent Hummus.

Very nice setting, nice lobby and fine room. Service was also pleasant.
A little bit too close to the main road, which was disappointing, because we could slightly hear it, but fine in general.
When asked for a baby bed we were offered a broken bed, which was replaced upon our request...
Meals were OK, bit not more than that.
In general the hotel is just fine, not wow at all.

Room Tip: Try to ask for a room with that faces the opposite side of the main road.

Stayed here with a group -- and all my comments should be read in that light.

Room was just OK and meals were less than acceptable. In specific, the breakfast which was supposed to be ready early for our group was really abysmal. A few pastries and pickled fish. The boiled eggs finally showed up about the time we had to leave. Whether a later breakfast would have been better, I don't know.

The comments on other posts about lack of housekeeping seem apropos to our experience as well.

I certainly would investigate other options before choosing this hotel for a personal stay.

Great hotel for families with kids. There is a great staff which operated the kids in summer time, There is a place in hotel called " Kids Kingdom" with playground, a little cinema room etc.... very nice. There is also an Entertainment Staff in evening time for all ( especially in summer time / holidays ) . You can even arrange there events / etc.
The food ( breakfast and dinner ) was great, and the service we got was very good.
The weather there is much better than many other places in Israel, especially in summer time while in most of the country you suffer from hot and high percentage of humidity, in this area you can enjoy good air in morning time, evening time, even in JUL-AUG !!!
It's not best hotel for solo travel / business / Couples, very recommended to families.

The hotel is about 20 mins from Jerusalem city center, and closed to some attractions in its area.

Room Tip: Ask for at least 2nd floor, and if possible, view to the wadi
