Everything was perfect (facilities, diversity of activities, the Green Team of La Santa, the restaurant, the apartment...). There were a lot of activities for the whole family on one side and everyone could do activities for himself on the other side
I really recommend La Santa
My husband and I are residents of Lanzarote for more than 4 years! We have been to Fariones 5 star hotel to have coffee and lunch many times, along with several other 4 star and 5 star hotels with our friends. NEVER IN OUR LIFE did ANYONE ask us for Idenitifcation JUST TO EAT OR DRINK INSIDE THEIR HOTEL!!!
Our friend BORJA who is a PILOT of Iberia for 25+ years, was celebrating his birthday at this hotel with his kids. Borja was staying at the hotel for 1 week and invited us to have dinner as he made a reservation for all of us.
When we arrived, the idiot security guard would not let us enter! Why? Because we didnt have our identification cards on us! My husband just had his wallet stolen but we have passports and NIE photos on our phones.
He told the reception that he will NOT let us enter, he is a 1st class jerk! We drove 40 minutes from playa honda only to be denied entry and we drove borja to an outside restaurant for his birthday. Thanks for RUINING our friends birthday!
DO NOT STAY HERE, the place will treat you like criminals.
Hello! We understand how it must be a big disappointment to make that drive and not be let into our resort, but we are very serious about the security of our guests. We daily have many people trying to gain unauthorized access to our resort and facilities and that is why our security may come off as being too strict. Obviously, in your situation, it must have been frustrating, but for the security of our guests, we cannot allow exceptions from the access requirements. We also understand that we most likely will not be getting a second chance of welcoming you to Club La Santa, but we hope that you understand our position and why we take security as seriously as we do.
A fantastic resort with a wide variety of sports activities available. A very good holiday where the fitness enthusiast will feel like they are in heaven. You can sit and chill by the pool or get involved and take part in any sports. It was never a dull moment throughout the day. A clean and fantastic facility with friendly and helpful staff. Lots more to do and will certainly come back again. I would highly recommend the resort.
I love everything here, but this year the cockroaches are unbearable. I literally had one crawling all over me one night.
The staff of the main resort are amazing - and the facilities absolutely fantastic. But the cockroach situation is not acceptable. Not when you’re paying such high prices.
Even if you cleaned up the dead ones, or caught the many walking around. Cleaners just step over them when a dustpan and brush would reduce the poor visual appearance. Sad times Club La Santa :( but just don’t think we can come back. It’s pretty grim.
Thank you for your review of Club La Santa. We are of course very sorry for your experience with cockroaches in our hotel. Due to the nature of this annoying little bug and the ideal climate for them we have in Lanzarote, we can probably never guarantee a bug-free experience here but can assure you that we take all precautions to minimize the inconvenience to our guests. I would also like to underline that the presence of bugs is not a consequence of lack of cleaning or bad hygiene – but simply an unavoidable part of the ecosystem in Lanzarote.

If you want to be treated like a criminal, stay at this hotel.
