Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great family resort. Swimming Pool was a little on the dirty side. Booked a self contained apartment. Clean and Spacious with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing xmas.

Wind howling and making whistling noises through the doors was a little annoying

Peppers was wonderful.
We stayed in a suite overlooking the golf course
Suite was gorgeous
V clean except for spiderwebs in window
Linen gorgeous - v luxurious

Only problems - aircon doesn't have vent in bedroom so it got quite stuffy and you can't close the door if people are in lounge as it's too hot
and
No wireless access from our room to internet - why?

Other than that it was beautiful

The staff couldn't help us enough - fabulous and a real credit to the hotel!

Room Tip: loved the suites - try and get a good midweek price

We stayed here for 1 night while exporing the Mornington Peninsula. This is a large, golfing resort with a central hotel building and separate blocks of rooms spread around the site.

At check-in, our room was upgraded to a suite which was very kind of the hotel. The suite was large with a separate living space, bedroom and a kitchenette and was very well equipped almost to the level of a serviced apartment. The room also had a nice balcony overlooking the fairway.

The only downside with the room is that some aspects were looking just slightly tired - there were some marks on the chairs and on the paintwork on the walls and so on and this continues into the main hotel area where the restaurant has some chairs in similar condition.

We ate at the hotel and the food/service was 'ok' but nothing out of the ordinary and breakfast is one of those buffets where you essentially do everything yourself from making the tea to taking cereals out of a packet.

The general theme is a bit 'corporate' - there's nothing here that's going to be particularly unique to your stay and, as non-golfers, I don't think I'd stay too many nights but we found it a useful, practical place to stay in the area and it probably has stronger appeal to golfers and/or corporate event stays.

Luxurious rooms overlooking the golf course.
Highlight of our stay was a trip to the Peninsula Hot Springs by golf cart across the course.
Dinner in a private dining room was lovely and the service excellent.

Nice rooms with great views of the golf course ( although noise from cheering, shouting players can be an issue if windows open). Great deep baths and rain showers. Lighting in room really poor - unable to see in luggage in storage area. Comfortable beds and lots of space. Room servicing a bit erratic and inconsistent. Room service trays left with food on in hall way outside room for couple of days. Generally relaxing stay and would recommend for golf fanatics or those looking for a conference venue rather than tourist base. Food in Spike Bar better than Pebbles overpriced restaurant.

This review is very late but better late then never. I stayed at Peppers in dec of 2011 for a conference and was impressed with the lovely rooms-bathroom set up etc. Golf course view is lovely from the bedrooms. I did not see the swimming pool or rest of the place as I was in a conference, but was impressed by the bedrooms. I wouldn't advise this place for a romantic holiday, but it is nice if you are on a work trip.

Staff are a little weird and their in room service is nonexistent (no room service, food, drinks, room bar etc) but you will love it. Rooms are very clean, and the golf course view is so relaxing. I've stayed here twice now and can't wait to return our next weekend away at the wine country. Make sure you pack your own DVDs, and your own wine and snacks.
