Had a wonderful stay for one night and wished it could have been longer. Dinner and breakfast excellent as were rooms. All positives and no negatives. Couldn't do enough for you even provided a Birthday cake at very short notice. We will definitely return again.

I have tried to avoid writing this review. Kept putting it off, but I suppose I have to do it. So lets start with the bad points. The bed was a bit hard. The hot water was unreliable. I ate far too much for breakfast and too much for dinner. I probably drank too much as well. I was woken at 3:30 every morning by a barrage of cocks crowing. There were ducks wandering in from the next door farm and stealing fruit from under the trees. And behind us there was a bull who could not quite reach his cows and wanted everyone to know.

Of course you don't have to suffer in this way. If you don't like farms then I would recommend a room on the far side of the garden, away from all the action. But if you are like me, brought up on a farm but been living in a town for the last 30 years, then all this was sheer heaven. Which is way I was reluctant to share it with anyone else. I want to make sure that when we come back, it will still be unspoiled.

We stayed six nights and it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. We spent the previous week in a poor hotel near Girne feeling that it was one to forget and I had low expectations right up to the moment we saw the garden. From then on nothing could disappoint us. It is a lovely place to stay - a garden, orchard and allotment combined in the grounds. It is well run and our room was very nicely appointed. Zainab (sorry if I have spelt that incorrectly), who runs front of house so impressively, ensures that the hotel truly deserves its "boutique" claim. She looked after the guests faultlessly. I have to mention the food as well, starting with one of the best breakfast spreads (which includes wonderful fig jam) to get the day going. The dinner menu is fairly limited but the food was good, simple and plentiful, with fresh local meze to start, a choice of main courses (all local) and some tasty delight for desert.

We will certainly be returning and just hoping that nothing has changed. Except maybe the bull has got what he wanted and has decided to quit the bellowing.

Room Tip: For animal noises and good views of the local small holdings, try the south-east corner.

We had a wonderful time in the Karpaz, helped along by superb accommodation at Villa Lembos. The bungalow was spotless, the food (we were HB, which I would recommend as nothing else within easy walking distance, was very good with slight changes to starters and breakfast each day. The family and staff are so friendly, yet professional and attentive.

Great little B and B in dipkarpaz . Warmly greeted by sisters Zeinab and Kamila and shown to our very nicely furnished and spotless bungalow! Excellent service at all times...nothing is too much trouble..and the food is delicious. Mainly local produce yoghourt,lamb,honey,cheese,eggs...the breakfasts are really exceptional.. Would highly recommend this place and didn't see anything else during our stay that would tempt me.
Would suggest a couple of changes..take the drapes off the beds...much more slick and modern.
Also the dining room lacks atmosphere...how about candles on the tables...lower lighting ...and a little background music. Would definitely go again.

Room Tip: If the drapes are still there go for white rather than bright blue! All rooms are quiet and have the...

This must be the fourth time that we have stayed at Villa Lembos over the same number of years and we are never disappointed. Its clean, friendly and well cared for. The small restaurant offers basic but well cooked Cyprus staple dishes with varied and delicious meze starters or as a meal. so nice not to have a boring 'stretched' mixed grill which is what Cyprus Meze has become. The staff are so nice and attentive and speak four languages between them (English Greek Turkish and Russian).
The garden setting with 'secluded' car park is a delight and the location is such that you can get into both the village and down to the coast very easily. You will have arrived by car and the roads from Kyrenia and Famagusta have recently been seriously up graded so access is more easy. You do need a car for the beaches, but if you are a walker there are several good hikes to be had from Villa Lembos and several nearby places of antiquity to visit.
I also like the traditional construction and furnishings and don't mind the presence of the odd cat. There are farms and small holdings close by so there are animals...and farmers. while communication is a wonderful thing, English will get you by in the village with a bit of semaphore!
Villa Lembos is also good value for money at EUR 50 for a double 'bungalow' on a B&B Basis and an 'a la carte' dinner, meze, mains and desert at EUR 10 pp.
I have to say that we just love the place but understand that in this remote location some things take a little time to get fixed. One evening we had to wait for the plumber to complete some repairs to the water heater , but all was down and dusted in about an hour, plus a little heating up time. We sat on the restaurant verandah and had a couple of cups of tea on the house, no big deal. I couldn't understand the recent negative comment about the Breakfast. It is a traditional Cyprus Breakfast with variety in the eggs and pancakes or thin filled pitta wraps each day. lots of home made and fresh stuff, including local fruit sourced juices. Maybe the general standard of everyrthing else makes you expect a 'Full English' or an 'American', but perversely that's not why you selected this accommodation, now was it?

Room Tip: Watch the sun because you can choose sun on and sun off the terraces of the bungalows. so if you wan...

After staying at this hotel in November 2013 for 2 nights, we returned in April 2014, this time for 3 nights. We were happy to find that the high standards had been maintained: the garden area surrounding the 6 bungalow-type rooms and the small restaurant/reception is well cared for, the room spotlessly clean and well equipped, plenty of hot water and high water pressure in the shower.
Towels and bed clothes were changed after 2 nights.
The restaurant offers an excellent Cypriot breakfast - the best one we have had on the island so far. The evening meal includes 4 to 5 Cypriot home-made starters (meze), a tasty main course, and a small dessert.
The service is friendly, attentive and helpful - not only during meals. A reported problem in the bathroom was immediately repaired.
Dipkarpaz provides a good base for exploring the natural beauty of the peninsula, be it as a hiker, cyclist, or motorist. The relaxing and welcoming atmosphere of this hotel makes it a perfect place to return to after a day exploring the nearby beaches or visiting the many ruined monastries and churches.
We are already looking forward to returning there in the autumn.

Room Tip: The rooms are more or less the same with similar furnishings (A/C, fridge, sat TV, terrace chairs an...

We just returned home after a 5 nights stay in the Villa Lembos. It is such a lovely place and you will not find a more friendly owner and his crew is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and we had great dinner every night. Though the weather was a mix of rain and sun we could have stayed for a much longer time.
We did not find better place in North Cyprus.
Highly recommended!
