After a visa run from beautiful Manuel Antonio down the PCH to sweaty border town, Paso Canoas, Panama, the map showed a winding road, Hwy237, climbing out of Neily.. and always open to a new road adventure, started steeply up the hairpined well built road with increasingly distant vistas over the humid lowlands of the Osa peninsula up into the much cooler highland ridge..planning to drive the PAH back onto the central valley over the (in)famous CaminoDeMuerte - the spectacular, scenic, vertigonous road winds up over the pass, at 3500ft, next to Central Americas highest mountian..and driving along the hilly road past neat homes and vistas, passed the interesting Hotel Cascada..
and for some unknown reason, just had to turn around and take a look, maybe have lunch..and found a marvelous setting and ambiance.
Was warmly greeted and welcomed by the owners, and shown one of the jungle hillside cabins, immediately decided to stay!
Ive been here three days now, explored the area, botanical gardens, neat, complete mountian town of St Vito...I confirm and could only repeat all previous reviews that have well discribed the amenities and ambiance of this special place...
Chef creates fine meals, lovely, warm Tica Carla attends the complete bar...Rusty the cat reigns serene and supreme over his domain...having explored all over CR for a someplace area to be, serendipity switchback somewhere sideroad off the plan has led me right to it.

Beautiful region of Costa Rica close to the Panama border. Definitely worth your visit! I was riding my motorcycle and pulled over just to check out the place. I am so glad I did. The food was top notch- I had their Churrasco steak cooked to perfection. Then the accommodations were breathtaking! Just wait until sun rise. Quiet, cozy, open access WiFi, fridge in the rooms, hot water, breakfast included. This has everything. Thanks so much to George and the other owners for making me feel at home in this paradise. I hope to visit again.

In our way to San Vito we stopped for a second at their restaurant and loved the atmosphere so much that decide to stay there for the night. Great decision. The bungalow/cabana was simple, on a cliff edge and overlooking the tropical forest. To be in this remote area, we weren't expecting the bungalow to be well equipped, so that was a nice surprise. A morning hike around the property before breakfast was an inspiring experience. We'll recommend to anyone.

We were exploring the south of Costa Rica and we got to this place by luck. It is a cozy little hotel with a great view of Costa Rica forest. The staff was very friendly! The breakfast was included and we had a nice dinner prepared in a wood stove.

Cascata del Bosco surprises with 4 nice decorated, spacious cabinas overlooking the forest. The details in our room were very nice (bed, bathroom). It even had a small kitchen with coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. The garden is nice and attracts a lot of birds.
The staff is very friendly and the owner (George) make you really feel welcome. Dinner and lunch in the restaurant is also very good. The chef prepares your menu on an outdoor kitchen. Close to Wilson Gardens this was a perfect place to be.

Room tip: All of the are nice situated and i think each has his own design.
