The first thing I noticed here was the cleanliness.
Everything is spotless & designed in a way to get the most from the space available.
We stayed on a Tuesday night & it was very quiet, no noise from other rooms or the outside areas downstairs mentioned in other reviews.
Excellent shower & comfortable bed. My only complaint would be, having such top range beds, why not also have top range pillows.
Would highly recommend.

My Partner spent our 3 year anniversary having dinner and hotel room at the Walkers Arms hotel and absolutely loved it! My partner and i are from Adelaide so have been to the buffet dinner before.

The buffet is great, but very popular so make sure you book in advance. Although they could use some bar staff as it seems to be a reoccuring issue.

We also spent some time in the gaming area which was great and had bar and snack service. I also tripled my money which was great.

The room itself was FANTASTIC. Very modern, very clean and beautiful on the eye.
Loved how beautiful and luxurious the bathroom was and the shower was spacious and we both easily fit in the shower, which had a detachable head which was a bonus.
The bathroom even has speakers so you dont miss much from the tv if you take a quick toilet break.
The main part of the room was also beatiful with a luxurious bed facing a very large modern TV unit which was nice to relax in.

Would totally reccomend as this was one of the best rooms i had stayed in (luxury wise)

Room Tip: Just be aware that the beer garden has music and general bar noise till the early hours, but it didn...

We went to the Walkers Arms on Friday for lunch for the first time since it was re built after a fire a few years ago. The food was excellent, with our 3 meals being a pizza, fish and chips and wedges. They were all very tasty and the prices were reasonable. We chose to sit in the beer garden and were able to watch a baseball game on the large screen TV while sitting in the sun. This hotel was always a good place to visit for a meal and it is even better since the re build.

We can recommend it and we will go back. We might try the buffet next time.

We used to go to the buck , but the food was second rate, the buffet here is great value , plenty of choices and good quality , if you cant eat a 3 course meal In 90 minutes eat somewhere else, kids were made welcome , perhaps kids under 5 could be free on sundays

With an amazing range of hot and cold food it will be easy to go back for seconds like we did but make sure you leave room for dessert and coffee, the little slices etc are just yum and with the whole buffet around 32 dollars a head it was good value. Sadly I did not see one staff member smile the whole time we were there and there appeared to be only one person manning the huge bar given the amount of time we had to wait for drink service. Having booked for the first sitting we felt we were being rushed to leave in time for the second sitting to come in. We would go back again for the food but only if we could get the later sitting.

Room Tip: If you are booking lunch on a weekend take the second sitting for a more relaxed experience.

On Sunday they charge $32 per head and it really wasn't worth it. The food was pub standard and they stopped putting it out at about 3. It is noisy, they have large TV screens with sports on, and the place looks a little tired.
If it is volume you are after then this may be your place, just go on a day other that Sunday when thye charge $10 less.
