Food was excellent, service was decent. Omelettes were well worth the price tag. The coffee was exceptional. We arrived at about 8:30 and by the time we left at 9:40, there was a line out the door.
I ordered the philly and it was disappointing. My wife ordered the vegan skillet but added 2 eggs and that was good. I shouldn't judge the place by one sandwich but it literally tasted like a sand sand which. Not much flavor at all. The regular coffee was very very good and I would go back just for a to go coffee or order something else besides the philly. Good prices for the area.
WORTH THE WAIT!
Good quality food...everything was delicious. We were not sure about this pace as it is located in a very touristy area ...what a pleasant surprise!
Great service as well! Our waiter was really nice!
The staff at Basecamp Hotel recommended Driftwood Cafe and boy are we glad that they did. The food is terrific and the staff is amazing - especially Ethan (thank you for making our breakfasts each morning so wonderful). There will be a little bit of a wait but they have plenty of outside seating. How could you have a better start to a day than a great walk in the fresh air and a wonderful breakfast. The meals are plentiful, hash browns are delicious, my husband and son loved the pancakes and bacon while I leaned towards the omelettes - which were delicious. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying their lunch.
